How our spring contact recycling initiative works
It’s simple: Send us an email at goldschatz@fixtest.de. We require your company’s full contact information as well as your bank details for the payment. You will then receive a confirmation and a corresponding shipping label from us. This allows you to request free collection of the recycling material via DPD.
Once the material has been received and inspected, you will receive a confirmation by email, and the credit for the purchase amount will be issued within 4 weeks.

Step 2: Receipt and Inspection of Materials
✔ Careful analysis: Upon arrival, we inspect your submitted spring contact pins for recyclability and purity.
✔ Confirmation: We confirm the receipt of your shipment and the weight we determined.

Purchase Conditions
We have compiled the most important information regarding the purchase conditions of our spring contact pin recycling program to provide you with quick and easy guidance.
If you have any questions or are planning to send material from outside Germany, please contact us directly at: goldschatz@fixtest.de .
Materials:
- We only accept gold-plated spring contact pins and contact sleeves.
- Other materials or components with foreign substances are excluded and will be sorted out upon receipt before determining the final weight.
- Every shipment is carefully inspected. If spring contact pins are enclosed in foreign materials such as plastic, they will be removed during the incoming inspection and will not be counted toward the total weight.
- If a shipment predominantly contains foreign materials or other components and the remaining spring contact pins and sleeves do not meet the minimum quantity of 1 kg, FIXTEST reserves the right to dispose of the shipment at the sender’s expense.
Minimum quantity:
- We accept shipments starting from 1 kg of material weight. Smaller quantities cannot be processed for economic reasons.
- Within Germany, a maximum of 30 kg per shipping label can be sent. If you wish to submit more, please notify our customer service at: goldschatz@fixtest.de
- For shipments from outside Germany, please also contact our customer service in advance.
Processing:
- After receipt and inspection of your shipment, you will receive a transparent confirmation by email including the weight and the corresponding compensation calculation.
- Payment is made within 4 weeks after receipt of goods.
Compensation calculation:
- We reserve the right to adjust the flat compensation rate of €70/kg for spring contact pins depending on the gold market price.
- The valid rate on the day of your application will be used for the calculation. If your application is older than 4 weeks, we reserve the right to apply the current rate instead.
- The current flat rate is €70/kg.
Additional charges (packaging, customs & import):
- As part of this recycling initiative, FIXTEST only provides free shipping labels for material returns within Germany.
- Any fees or costs incurred for or during shipping will not be covered by us. If such costs are charged to FIXTEST, we reserve the right to deduct them from your recycling credit.
